Ameren Illinois provides electric transmission and distribution service and natural gas distribution service. Every day, we deliver electricity to 1.2 million electric and 816,000 natural gas customers in central and southern Illinois, ensuring safe, reliable energy to more than 1,200 communities.
Under direct but not constant supervision, perform a full range of overhead line construction and maintenance work on electrical transmission, sub-transmission, distribution, or service systems. Works on lines that are either dead or energized at all voltages, and performs related less skilled work as required.
Position is covered by the IBEW bargaining agreement and requires a 25‑mile residency requirement.
Hourly Pay: Grade Step PA 045 Step 1 of 1 (Top Step) – 54.61 USD. Position is eligible for annual incentive payments based on company performance, subject to management discretion.
